Abstract
La fotografia ritrae Peggy Guggenheim di profilo mentre indossa un orecchino realizzato per lei da Yves Tanguy. La fotografia è stata scattata nel 1949. Quando il 20 ottobre 1942 Peggy inaugurò la sua galleria di New York "Art of this century" indossava uno di questi orecchini fatti da Tanguy e uno di quelli fatti da Calder per dimostrare la sua imparzialità fra surrealisti e astrattisti.
