Abstract
Graffiti Art in Prison explores graffiti in spaces of incarceration and repression, from the prisons of the Spanish Inquisition in the 17th century to modern correctional facilities. This volume features photographic documentation of workshops held in the prisons of Palermo and Florence, where artists, prisoners, and students worked together using art as a universal language of expression and understanding.
